Drawing inspiration from the success of the local, fresh beef burgers on his steakhouse’s bar menu, Mike Mariola crafted his second restaurant concept based on unique burger creations and All-Ohio beer, and in 2011 The Rail was born.

The original location in Fairlawn has stayed true to its roots to this day: a gourmet burger bar known for championing creative American fare and Ohio craft brews. Locations in Strongsville, Dublin, and Grandview Heights, meanwhile, have adopted a new brand look and name - The Rail Craft Kitchen. These locations boast greater menu variety, while still serving the delicious burgers that our guests have come to love.
